Thursday 21 May sees the May handicap at Loch Kinord
1] Park at Dinnet car-park [adjacent to cross roads]
2] Jog [10 minutes approx] on path signposted by finger-post to Loch Kinord orange route. Go through double gates to Finger-Post directing circular route round Loch Kinord . This is Start and Finish of race route.
3] Follow orange route arrows around Loch to north, at farm gate cross fence directly to left of gate with aid of boulders either side of fence.
4] Continue to follow orange route till finger-post, directing to New Kinord. Follow directed path up to track, go left and follow blue route through rusty farmgate.(open)
5] At junction turn right and continue on blue route [with Loch Davon on left] clockwise through kissing gate. Arrive at gate (open), leaving blue route continue to the right through farmyard of New Kinord. Go through gate on track (open), look for ‘dead tree’ on left, and go through field back towards Loch Kinord and the gate first crossed. Re-trace the orange route back to Finger – Post at start. This is the finish.
