A truely gorgeous morning and I imagine everywhere in the Highlands would have been awesome. Here was perfect. Started by following good path out to foot bridge just before firing range, which I popped in for old times sake, then up the ridge to the tiny loch at 407m. Conditions were perfect as bracken free and dry but path free, rocky and plenty of heather fairly challenging.Had forgotten how many ups and downs to Cairn on Crannoch Hill, so pleased to finally reach it. A path to point 602 and then deep heather down to track which is followed past a bird haven back to van. just under an hour.
